Have they forfeited the season yet? Good ******* riddance to them and their horrible fans. Viva Chansiri.
I assume the logic is that it's not the best prep/warm up for a game to be sat down for an hour and half the morning of a game. Can't say I disagree with the logic, but not sure it's really worth it in the long run realistically. All about squeezing that bit extra performance though.
I wonder what most clubs' policy is on players traveling to home games. It's not unusual these days for a player to live an hour or two from the home ground and travel in. Would clubs put them up in a hotel too or expect them to sit down for that time? Never thought about that until now
It's a fair point and I imagine the answer is that it differs from club to club and player to player.
I believe, particularly in the PL, it's not unheard of for teams to stay together in a hotel before home games.
The secret Wednesdayite‘s are exposing themselves. Live above your means suffer the consequences. VIVA CHANSIRI
Left back Max Lowe has handed in his notice and can leave the club from free on 15th August. Failed to be paid on time on consecutive months. Other senior staff are rumoured to be doing the same. Should Lowe leave i think their first team squad is down to 14 players.
Wednesday fans w@nking over Bannan saying how loyal he's been, what a magnificent player, he doesn't deserve to go out like this, blah blah blah. They don't seem to get that Bazza's ten years at £25k-£40k per week is part of the reason they are where they are!
About 40 yrs ago, we were away at Shrewsbury. Got there early and saw the usual faces waiting by the players entrance for their freebies, so thought we’d try our luck. Along came Rodger, our hero! “Any chance of a ticket? begged we. “I’ll see what I can do lads” assured he, with a wink and a smile, before disappearing into the corridor, never to be seen again. Fast forward to today, and there he was on local news, sympathising with Wednesday, and not winking, or smiling either. What goes around comes around RODGE!! SITHI
Just before you feel too sorry for them, just seen a video on Facebook of a load of Wednesday at Derby when they were in financial trouble, walking past the Derby fans singing”when Derby county die, we’ll all be having a party.”
Genuine question. If they only have 14 players now..and they can’t sign anyone else…how the hell do they expect to start the season, let alone complete it. What the heck are the EFL doing? Surely admin is just a matter of time? And why are they different to Bury, Bolton, Morecambe etc?
