    Much more structured, still a work in progress but everyone looks like they know their role, great win in a difficult game with a poor ref.

    Cooper looks an excellent keeper
    Connell looks something more like his old self.
    Kelly looks a real talent
    McGoldrick wise, tough and brilliant for DKD to play off
    Vickers looks a handful

    Special mention for Josh Earl won lots of ugly challenges and left everything out there.

    DKD looked quiet, difficult playing alone with 10 but does what he does 1 chance bang seals it.

    Really not a fan when he is played LB. But was excellent after the sending off when he went to CB

    He did well at CH. Thought he was awful at LB in first half.

    Please give this man what he needs player wise and we'll be fine.

    Been improving ever since he took over. And now he's had a full pre season, all the stuff he promised about effort and fitness etc. is there to see.

    This man gets it and gets this club and area. Just needs the tools and he'll be a massive success with us, just like he was in his playing days.

    Exactly this.
    Need a RB, CF and another CH for me. That Hamer would be a great signing as he covers two of those positions. On the bench today for Lincoln.

    Connell was my man of match today. He was like his old self.

    I thought our full backs got beat easily when one on one. However, the way we dug deep at the end with our backs against the wall was great to see.

    Cooper looked good with his hands. Something we didn’t see lots of last season.

    Think Bland also needs a call out.

    Came on a right back and looked composed and moved over to the left after the sending off and didn't look out of place. Shame he missed that chance but another impressive performance from him.

    If we keep this squad together with today's application we might have a real go at promotion.

    I think the fact I've expected us to lose two or three of Connell, Phillips, Russell and Keillor-Dunn has coloured my expectations over the summer. But maybe one out, a couple more in and we're a strong League One outfit, albeit a small squad.

    What a fabulous start to the season, structured, clever and despite the, somewhat unjust, Red Card the 10 men battled hard and KEPT ATTACKING-great result I'd love to be on the Team bus coming home to enjoy the victory celebrations. We have a great season ahead I think.
