Who was asking for prices to be frozen? Ive heard repeated feedback about our offering being way too expensive.
What absolute crock of crap con ! its £5 up to 14:30 them what its £7, that’s not a freeze it maybe a freeze from the Simpson fight but it was an increase from last season that on top of it going up a £1 last season !!
The gaslighting ******** Can the supporters trust and the fab group please raise this as a pretty serious issue that the club are blatantly lying about what supporters have asked for. Alone it might seem trivial but in the diet context of trust it is absolutely appalling. Jon flatman is a man who no matter what he says in the future on any issue I will assume he is lying because under his watch he has allowed his employees to lie to supporters in an article that he is quoted in. **** him off and get someone with some moral fibre in instead Oh and also please ask why they keep breaking advertising law despite being told over and over that they're doing it. It's pathetic and yet again makes me question the competency and moral integrity of club staff. And there will be some on here blaming for thinking it's **** that the club breaks advertising law routinely
£5 a pint shouldn't be an offer, it should be the very most they're charging. Particularly for something as ghastly as Madri. What an utterly appalling announcement this is. Nobody asked for food prices to stay the same, unless they've done a poll and taken the opinion of about 3% of people. This doesn't fill me with much confidence for an improvement in terms of the 'match day experience' for the coming season.
So, after a fan survey made clear that food and drink pricing was obscene, they’ve “listened” by keeping those prices. You’ve got to laugh. At least the new FanZone will be open…
I'm not sure what circles the upper echelons of our club move in, but I've never paid £7 for a pint of owt, let alone pretentious Carling.
Even more incentive - if it were needed - to eat & drink in town, then rock up at Oakwell for kick-off.
BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT, until they listen. Eat an Drink before the match as Micky Finn says, you wont starve or die of thirst in the 2 hrs attending the game.
I can't let with thread pass by without pointing out that Madri is about as Spanish as Henderson's Relish. It's never been past Burton and is the equivalent of pouring coffee on a Victoria Sponge and calling it fine Italian Tiramasu.
