    Im glad to see Phillips in there. I’m usually one to say he can be very quiet then score a worldie but I thought he was excellent yesterday. He was absolutely knackered towards the end.

    His performance on saturday supports my theory that he was carrying an injury for the 2nd half of last season. Hopefully that's behind him now and he can fulfill his potential.

    I sorta don’t want Phillips and DKD doing too well just yet. Not until after the transfer window has shut. I know we don’t have a right back, but if I could close the transfer window right now I would.

    I doubt there’s anything they could do that would make clubs take notice of them that weren’t already though.

    It’s not like they’re unknown players from the academy or something.

    Why is it that when he supposedly has a good game I never notice him.
    To me he's one of those players who is anonymous no matter what he does, good or bad. Just me.

    The volley from 20 yards out, guided perfectly into the bottom corner for our second goal, was particularly unnoticeable.

    He's a real enigma to me, some aspects of his game are Premier League level, like his long range shooting and passing, then other aspects he just doesn't seem effective. I guess if everything he did was Premier League we wouldn't have him, so I'm guessing other, more qualified people then me, have thought the same thing.
