According to Stephen, he was minding his own business when a drunk man accosted him (nowhere near 64-year-old), and for a few minutes wouldn't leave him alone and got right in his face, so fearing for his safety he sparked him out. He says he then called the police himself, and that he'd got a pre-planned trip overseas and would be back on 'x' date where he'd be happy to face questioning on the matter. He says CCTV backs him up entirely, he wants it releasing publicly and based upon 'self defence' laws, he'll be perfectly fine. I take it all back. He's a hero.

Seeing as the police officer who released the Manchester Airport CCTV footage is facing charges for illegally releasing footage relating to an active investigation, I can safely say noone will be releasing it. Not because it proves him innocent, but because its against the law!
He left this man for dead, the victim needed CPR & was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, what a complete lovely person.
No he doesn’t. He knows it won’t be able to be released so he can use that to grift more money off morons.
