Really enjoyed the atmosphere yesterday but will it be the same when the discount goes away. You could tell after the game the players enjoyed it as well. Barnsley the town has never been a financial hub lots of people need food banks to live. Could the club do anything like this again.Fingers crossed .
Good sales after day 1. No update since but can't be far off a 5k sell out. We can't do deals too often or it makes a mockery of the season ticket and we shouldn't be putting on deals for one of the bigger games of the season. If how we've started the season doesn't get people buying for next week then so be it. Yes some won't be able to afford but when we do rubbish and people say they can't afford a lot of them would be able to afford all of a sudden if we were winning.
Atmosphere will be good again Saturday. It’s the following weeks that will be effected by the no discount. We seem to have a rivalry with Bolton at the minute that a lot of people are enjoying.
