I’d genuinely have Joe Nuttall here as a sub/backup for McG. Cheap, still a good age. Big lad, but mobile. Career should have gone better. Project.

Hope Marshy gets fixed up soon and goes on to have a good career. Unless Wednesday take a punt on him, obviously.

I thought he was the second coming. Surely Real Madrid have signed him by now.

No one on here has said anything remotely like that. Just that he had some good talent as a youngster. Dont get why people do this, take the piss, as though he acted like Mido or Oulare.

Personally I wish him well. Didn’t do anything wrong, and unfortunate to be looking for a contract to stay in the sport.

A nice lad who hails from Barnsley and season ticket holder. I for one hope he gets a contract somewhere and has a career in football.

Hhmm that was a bit unnecessary Mr obsessed with Twitter kid, but to be honest it did make me laugh. :p
Obviously Aidey Marsh didn't get a fair chance here, for whatever reasons.
But, he's gone now, we move on!.

It's not a knock at Aiden, it's a dig at people overrating him for being a local lad, when it's telling he still cannot get a club.

    BTW it's X.

What's PFA FC? Like a job centre for unattached players? Hope he gets sorted soon!

When i read it, my first reaction was that it was an unnecessary dig at Marshy, turns out it wasnt, but a dig at those who who saw something in Marshy.
Dig all you want, but remember that old saying, he who laughs last, laughs the longest.
I for one sang his praises and still think he will come good given the right chance.
If we had seen him afforded the same time, chances, that others were given, at the time, and might I add, were doing no better, but were still getting selected, or making the bench regularly. We might have seen a different outcome.
No one claimed he was the next Mo Salah, or he would turn out to be the next messiah but he certainly deserved better treatment by the club than he got.
In my opinion after whats taken place with both Cosgrove and Watters it seems obvious the pair were getting selected to put them in the shop window hoping they became salable assets, we know how that panned out.
Once again in my opinion Unfortunately for Marshy he was part of the collateral damage in the bigger picture.
    I wish that lad well

She deserved it. Jack didn't have to die. There was more than enough space on the debris for both of them to float on.
