They had the warning with the throw in- got to deal with it if it comes near post. All that good work and domination spoiled by some daft defending.

 

Stopped playing after 25 minutes for some reason.
Usual comedy defending to any long ball into the box. All Fleetwood need to do is launch it in.

 

I enjoyed that season to be fair; we did win most games.

 

Having seen their goal back, Russell just turns his body away too, very nonchalantly. Why isn't he just getting his head on it to clear it?

 

Barratt should have done better at the corner which led to the goal. Poor from both him and Cooper.

 

But twice he’s been caught out with expecting someone else to deal with it. Can understand it once in a blue moon but it’s now happened twice in less than 20 mins. Must have had a good defence last season as can’t see him keeping many clean sheets here with our defence and if he continues to make errors like Sat and today.

 

Just very weak defending

 

It appears you are correct mate..we may be winners of the bizzare goal award after last week and now this..still fancy us but still think we need another Shepard for RCH. It will take a while for us to have a regular settled 11...but there's defo the makings.

 

You could argue he left the throw-in knowing it would be ruled out. But if you did, you'd be wrong, he tried to stop it and failed.

There can't be many keepers that have been beaten directly from a throw in and a corner in the same half.
Too early to judge him though he needs to be given a fair crack at it

 

We played some lovely stuff in the first half and really should be out of sight.

A sloppy goal to concede right at the end, but if we keep playing the same way and take the chances that will undoubtedly come.

 

Just one comment keepers a clown.

 

Good half overall, easily out played them but two massive mistakes at the back and we're a bit lucky to be going in level. The throw in was particularly bad as no way you should ever be letting a straight ball bounce there.. schoolboy stuff. The corner at least had good whip on it which is harder to defend.

DKD needs to find his shooting boots at half time!

I still wouldn't rule out an experienced keeper myself as well as a center half..
Give someone like Jamal Blackman a years deal like Watson, see how he does.
