Having just watched the game back that was really enjoyable. DKD in his proper place was a menace. Watson played very well as did Luca.

The sending off helped us sure but we were pretty much on top anyway . Well managed second half from us only blemish was the late goal we gifted them.

Still very early days but we are much easier on the eye and making Oakwell a difficult place to visit.

Anyhoo Watson for me. Great find.

They all played really well but I'm going with Connell. Loved the way he old manned them and getting the goal topped it off!

All played well, special mention for Connell, Phillips and Shepherd who were excellent. But I thought Watson had a cracking game so he gets my vote.

Plenty of contenders. In fact, pretty much every outfield player could put in a reasonable claim.

Shepherd, Earl, Connell, DKD, Bland all stood out. Ogbeta may well have been my choice if it wasn't for his brain fart near the end - although that really shouldn't take the shine off a magnificent attacking display from one of Plymouth's "worst ever players".

But like the OP, I'm going to give it to Watson, who was absolutely faultless. Nothing at all flashy about him, but he looks extremely solid and dependable. Does the basics well and I think it's clear his calmness and experience is rubbing off on those around him. So far he's looking like an inspired signing, and just what we needed with Robbo out for the foreseeable.

I think Conor deserves this one for his line-up and tactics. He completely out-thought Grant from the start, and his substitutions – as mentioned elsewhere – helped secure what turned into a relatively comfortable win.

As for the players, no one had a bad game. Connell and Shepherd, despite a couple of early errors, stood out, as did Watson, who was solid if unspectacular. That said, I think Davis had his best game of the season in a central role. Both his goals came from sharp anticipation, and his off-the-ball work – especially leading the press – was a major factor in the overall performance and the result.

Went for Shepherd but could’ve been Connell, Watson, DKD or Bland for me.

Yet another tough choice with plenty of contenders which has got to be a good sign.
With his two goals and much more like his old self, I went for ‘Kilo’ Dunn

As everyone has said lots of contenders this time. Watson just edges it for me but can see a case for many of the starting 11

Connell would have been in contention for me bar that stray pass which put us in some trouble 1st half where Bland went and blocked it. But he did have a very good game.

    DKD.

All were good, some were very good, but at the end of the day our scorer started scoring again.
