    If all the 'best' players are signed late in the window.
    We didn't want to get the wrong ones in, weeks or especially months ago.. They might have already been settled in by now.. what a disaster that would have been..

    There's 36hrs or so to go if we don't fetch in a couple your disappointment will be shared by many. I agree it's crazy doing business in the last day but football is a crazy business. We saw a club yesterday who have chucked i fair few millions at it and the 30 odd minutes it was 11×11 we were more than there equal. Hopefully santa will bring Hourihane what he wants and with the start what he deserves.

    The players should also be better than the original ones we wanted to bring in because our good start will have players all of a sudden more interested in joining us.

    The concern i have is that Murphy, Ogbeta and Vickers are with us on loan , and Watson was only given a season long contract, if a club offered a fee of a few million to Brighton could he be recalled.

    The best players are genuinely often signed on the final day. Because players and selling clubs that have options often wait to get the best deal possible for a budding war to take place.

    Seriously hope we are going to get a couple of decent players in while our stock is high and the owners aren't going to cop out saying the squad is good enough.

    Keep Connell, DKD and Phillips along with signing a centre back and a proper number 9 and it will have been a great window.

    If we can’t bring anyone else in then we need to make sure we don’t sell any.

    If Russell isn't going to be starting then we have to get rid. I really wish we didn't, but there's no way a club like BFC can afford to have a plus £1 million asset sitting on the bench and running down his contract.
