Favourite all time band seen them circa 20 times, still amazing Would have gone had I not been away on hols at present.
Managed to see them in Manchester at the GMEX - incredible. It was the sound track for my days at Uni
Was that the infamous Dec 1990 gig ? Or later ones Seen them at Gmex around 2006 I think but not the 1990 one which they filmed
Drove minibus back over from that gig. Lorries jacknifed, cars stuck. Got to Flouch roundabout to be met by police. Told me Woodhead had been closed. I told told him there was nobody at other side stopping me.
No this was much later - must have been in the 2009 ish. Remember my mate's wife was there and she was pregnant

Best live band around at the moment, we usually see them about 4 times a year, Tim a brilliant frontman but all members really talented and put on a stunning show every time...couldn't go last night but would have loved to be there, missed a few shows this year, couple due to Brooce
Watched them first night at Piece Hall, absolutely amazing. James have always been a live band, during tough times in the eighties it was there live performances that kept them going. They walked away from Sire records, borrowed 30k from the bank to retain the recording rights to Sit Down, turned a record deal down from factory records and self produced a live album, one man clapping. Their legacy as a live band lives on.
