I agree that he's probably not good enough for the team currently 2nd in the Championship. But he did get 18 goals for us in league 1 the season before last. He's a natural finisher.
Why did he leave Barnsley then for more Monet did he honestly expect to play regular. They have probably paid him up to get shut.
Would anyone choose Port Vale over any where? It's an orrible place, only ground I would never return to.
He'll get booed. Can't understand some of our lot top scorer for us 2 seasons on spin always gave 100% but then players like Humphrys turn up and they'll probably give him a standing ovation. The mind boggles.
I'd have loved to have Cole back. I'd say people have very short memories when it comes to Devante but even when he was scoring plenty of goals for us he still had a lot of critics which baffled me then and baffles me now. Very good striker at this level which would've cost us nada.
I,ve seen some quality strikers play for Barnsley over the years Parker.aylott,currie,ward,shipperly Cole wouldn’t,t even get in the top 20.
Still think he put effort in his goals dried up and so did Neil Collins football. Cole was also very good at pressing from the front we played under Duff although some fans think pressing is just chasing the football around the pitch
True yet beggars can’t be choosers the thing I didn,t like about him (you might know him better than me)he never smiled or celebrated a goal didn,t look he was he was enjoying it.
