CB in no major players sold pity about a striker but big big plus DKD, Phillips still reds and at last we've told Luton to **** off and find their players somewhere else.

More than happy with that. We have options in all departments.

This Rooney lad can play CH or FB. A very decent squad who will have to fight to keep their places.
I'm not too worried about up front as we have McGoldrick with Phillips and DKD able to slot in there if need be.

A midfield to choose from that could be the best in the division.
Bland, Connell. Yoganathan. Russell. Vickers. Cleary. Phillips. Kelly.

    Farrugia Looks pretty versatile.

    Defence
    Ogbetta, Watson. Bland (if required)
Roberts. MDG. Roberts. Earl. Shepherd. Rooney. Gent. Barrett.

Cooper in goal. One of the best in the division. (Can bring in emergency loan if Connor deems necessary)

Also be interesting to see if young Farrell can push himself into equation like the other lads have, be a bonus if he can, looked okay last week in cup.

From what I've seen he looks a decent prospect. A bit raw and not afraid to take folk on, But needs to be aware of who's around him, to pass when in a better position to have a shot at goal.
Should start tomorrow for the U21s I'd have thought.

Where’s striker option? McGoldrick injured, banned/out of form it’s baffling there’s no back up

Like spaffing his first shot into the ponty from 3 yards, when there were two unmarked players waiting for a tap in?

I’m only joking of course. Be good to see how he gets on.

You know who, you are being a pedant. Its the lad who played there last season for us who scored bucket loads of goals and we were all terrified of losing.

Ah right the lad who’s not a striker. But even if that’s the case where’s the back up ? If DKD/McGoldrick get injured or banned who plays ???? I. The past years at least we’ve had options Cosgrove/Marsh/Watter/Dyer/Dallas etc all not very good but at least there was someone to put a shirt on now we have what Farrugia a left back who was played up top at Stockport away ???

Farrugia isn't a left back. And for the striker, I'd rather give young lads a go than another Cosgrove or Clem. Why waste money on ****?

I'm pretty sure Connor is happy with the window Jud. He said if he didn't lose any of his prize assets he'd close the window then. As for Farrugia he has played most of the season (Inc. friendlies ) up front either mostly out wide or down the middle and looked more than capable. Dallas can hardly be called a back up as he's been elsewhere. Cosgrove I'd have played you instead of him. Marsh and Dyer (who was hardly a main back up) not figured in the plans. Farrell is seen as much of a back up as probably any of the players you mention. And possibly a better option. Connor made it plain he didn't want just anyone, Watters maybe. Rodriguez was gash. Every single one of connors signings to date. 8 I believe. Are all ready and more than capable from what I've seen.
We have goals all over the midfield and 3 what I would call strikers. Phillips. DKD and McGoldrick. Farrell a back up. Maybe that new young un who scores goals for fun who we've brought in as well. Jalo who is a class act imo (i know not yours) and will come good. To come back after injury.
