Every passing week, I'm becoming more annoyed I wasted my vote on Labour at the GE to get this shambles, especially Starmer.

Especially trying to label what now seems like the majority of the country as racist, Nazi, far right. It's just pure ignorance to do so and adding fuel to the fire for those not happy with how things are being handled and public money spent.

I wonder if she purposely fessed up very shortly before PMQs - it didn't leave Starmer with any time to consider a response and so his only choice when confronted at PMQs was to back her which makes it harder for him to sack her...

 

Yet another balls-up from Labour..... again. Regardless of whether one likes Starmer and his policies or not this is yet more fuel for the right and is another nail in the coffin for the Labour Party because people will remember this, the media will remind people and consequently they will lose a few more votes to Farage,Greens, Tories, LibDems, Corbyn and Monster Raving Loonys. In fact, personally, I think anybody who is thinking of voting Labour, even at this stage of the Parliament, IS a monster raving loony.

 

I've not paid daily attention to the torygraph and mail's attempts to oust her. But I'm pretty sure there was one day in the paper review, where the angle was she'd taken "expensive advice from Shoosmiths".

If she did get bad advice, she should certainly claim against them. If not, she needs to be careful and not dig her hole even bigger.

You'd think given the attacks by the media on the women especially, you'd think she'd have been ultra cautious.

The Government - Inland Revenue - are currently bankrupting a number of Ex-footballers who were badly advised (actually de-frauded really), they don't seem to care about that.

I'm similar. At the next GE the options are fascism or something else. I don't know what the shape of that something else will be in 4 years time, but I'll certainly be voting for whatever has the highest chance in my new constituency. Sadly, given the council is fascist controlled, it's highly likely what I vote will have no impact on holding back the tide.
