On the positive side, we have a huge away end that accommodates most clubs away support requirements and gives them a fantastic view.

On the negative side, our away car park is an absolute nightmare to get out of by all accounts (even worse than the ponty road car park for home fans). And we could probably be a friendlier place for away fans to visit - They are mostly herded to the Metrodome and if there is any kind of decent numbers, they struggle to get into any pubs in town.

I think times have changed for the better. Our local derbies in recent years seem to have far more away fans in the pubs in town, which is a big positive.

Agree but never seen the point in socialising before or after matches. Just civil. "I think Barnsley will win". Reading fan, "Well actually I think we're going to win". (Like it matters). "Good luck for rest of season". Substitute Reading for any other hollow, throwaway conversation.

We used to do it when we played with the supporters club. Had some great times drinking with the opposing fans. Charlton fans used to love the John Smiths Magnet in the old social. West Brom stayed behind and got drunk with us on our presentation night. Great times.

How on earth are Huddersfield and Bradford ranked so highly?
Crap view at Bradford. Not a place I’d want to go for a pre match drink - unless it was in Shipley/ Saltaire which is a treck to the wrong side of the ground.
Long walk from parking/ station At Huddersfield. Sterile setting at Huddersfield with only half the stand for away fans whilst there are empty stands in the home areas. Never felt like a traditional football stadium to me.

I did enjoy Fulham away, and strangely, Crewe.
Liverpool for obvious reasons was the best.
