    Stage one wasto remove free to air 1575 and replace it with subscription based barnsley world. I can't wait for stage three.

    He'll get fed up and move onto something else a couple of months after collecting the subscriptions. Who in their right mind would set another subscription off with this guy after the last fiasco? Having said that, I can't imagine many people are willing to pay to view photos anyway.

    Thats a bit unfair

    The reason Oakwell AM went off air wasnt to force people to sign up to World - much more to do with the way Oakwell AM was being run at the time. I am sure it would still have been running had it been operated in a better way.

    Disappointed that the proposals for a replacement fell through though.

    Who owns the copyrite on Stokes photos - I remember us being taken to task for linking to a picture of a club shirt due to infringing PLTV copywrite

    Showing the several shirts you could buy from the club last season?

    Mark claims that he owns all of the photos and that this includes the promotional shots for the kits last season that were used by the club. He says that they were his photos that he simply allowed the club to use on their website or something. Never did explain how exactly he got access to the third choice shirt to get photos taken of it before it was launched though but nevermind.

    And ok you've got a point with 1575 but the decision not to relaunch it as free to air and instead to operate on a subscription only basis must have been financial musnt it?

    I dont remember who posted it but do remember receiveing an order to remove the offending pictures - I mean us digracefully offering free advertiseing of club products we should be locked up for that.

    I dont really know if the concentrating on Barnsley World was a financial decision or a" too much trouble" one I sort of suspect the latter - but really dont know

    Its a shame though

    Because marks site is a cracking website, its well laid out and it has interesting articles. If they was honest about their agenda and that real status of the site then i'd gladly use it and i'm sure loads more feel the same. Come on mark, get it sorted

    Barnsley Football Club are very understanding

    I mean, allowing a third party website with no links to the club to sell pictures that they largely own the image rights to. Very honourable of them.
