McLeod wasn't on the Crawley team photo, taken today, manager there says McLeod is refusing to play for them and that until they get a proper bid for him he'll rot in the stands. Coventry are about to sign a free agent striker, so not them getting him, but Southend are rumoured now to be in pole position. Tommy Wright hinted last night that we'd be seeing an experienced striker added. I hope it's Izale.
Hes got a bad attitude if hes refusing to play or be involved with the club. Terrible example to young players.
The one striker I've wanted us to sign all summer. Do your worst Ben! Get it done by setdi! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Location could be the key in this transfer. It would make sense if he went to Southend. Having said that money and ambition talks - hopefully the latter will entice him here. With his attributes I'm sure he would be an asset to us.
Other strikers Id much prefer us to sign. bradshaw and madden being two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don't get me wrong, I would love McLeod here but, I think if LJ wanted him he would be here by now. Especially as McLeod obviously wants out at Crawley. A previous post stated that location could be the issue and I agree. I think LJ has somebody else in mind and I'm really looking forward to seeing who it may be. Could be wrong like. Bradshaw is a good shout also. Good player. Whoever it is, I hope they're in by Saturday!
S****horpe sold Winnall because we offered good money for him and he wanted to come. Him and Madden worked well enough to get them promoted and get Winnall the golden boot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They've plenty of money Scun Thorpe , no need to sell Madden unless really silly money offered which I don't think we'd offer for someone that age.
We won't be signing McLeod. Weeks ago, LJ said we'd not made an offer, when the interest started on him last Monday or so, it was confirmed that we weren't interested. Unless we gone back on the completely now, I can't see us being after him. He's said he wants to leave Crawley, but as has been pointed out, Southend is more likely his destination. McLeod's fallen out with a few managers over the years...fair number of lengthy injuries also...not for me
