RE: Yep, think so. Heard that Leeds fans are going to make a point to Mr Bates by not going to this game. He is ecpecting a bigger crowd because it is a local game, but will be far from it.
Still contemplating it £26 to go to a match on my own, would have to be an early train from Shef, then gotta get to ground from station...Other half would be moaning about losing his one & only lie in of the week... kids would be upset I'm out for 3rd time this week to a game ... sometimes it's not worth the hassle.
Apparently there is a shuttle bus from station to ground. Thats what i'll be catching.
Otherwise its says its around a 35 minute walk to the ground.

RE: At least i'll be back in Manc in time for the Work Xmas party now! bit early for a crimbo do ont 2nd december aint it?
I think its coz we tend to get busy towards Xmas , so it would be tricky to allow the production people time off duting the busy period.
RE: Still contemplating it You could be right. But these days not sure I can come away from many games thinking "that was money well spent". If it was just me to think about I'd definitely do it, but these days I look at £26 and think what a great day out we could have as a family - Gullivers with the kids, or something similar, and that's 4 people guaranteed good day out. Elland Rd is £26 just for me, not including travel, and I could be coming home pig sick gutted & feeling guilty I didn't spend the time doing something with kids.
Father Chistmas is not getting my £26 quid 12 o'clock kick off anall.WHAT A FECKIN LIBERRRRTY
I'm going..........come on Fi, get thisen up to Leeds We can all sit together and cheer em on to a massive win!
RE: Yep, think so. From what I gather Leeds fns boycott home games and travel away because it's cheaper!
RE: 20 quid is too much for a home match ticket Football geneally is overpriced but we still keep going!
