Which is hard to do if you're as skint as it is made out we are

The fact that while the top teams in the league have spent peanuts on agents fee's yet barnsley have blown over a quarter of a million just to agents and are for the third year in a row (thanks simon) in a relegation fight shows to me that our policy on transfers is all wrong.

I wonder if our figures are so high because we seem to loan someone once a week. No transfer fee but money wasted on agents every time we bring in a teale, rigters or whaley

Maybe its because we don't have a board with enough knowledge about signing players.

    Ten other clubs spent 200k+

Derby spent 3 times the amount, and numerous clubs have spent more over the longer period.

Only 7 paid less than 100k and only the pigs spent "peanuts" which is no surprise since they've hardly made a signing and haven't a pot to piss in.

Depends on type of transfers I suppose. Cant imagine how QPR only managed to fork out 40k..some payments may not be transparent? May depend on how certain players remunerate their agents?? Championship
