The tactics were spot on and if it wasnt for an individual mistake we would have won.</p>

As much as I dislike Davey and i like Hume, I'm afraid Davey can't be blamed for someone missing an open net!

I'd have liked us to be more adventurous, but we need to stop the rot and a clean sheet away from home is something to build on, provided we hold on, particularly not losing to one of the sides I expect to be around us this season

    get in there

"We have come away from home and it is good to get a point although we had a great chance to win it late on.

"You would put money on Iain (Hume) scoring then."

"I thought tactically we played it spot on against a good passing side."

I thought tactically we threw away 3 possible points

We were comfortably on top against a poor side first half

So with a flash of brilliance he decided to put everyone back in our own half the second and leave just KO up front on his own.

Not the guys greatest fan but honestly there was nothing even someone like Alan Shearer could have done when given the ball surrounded by 3 players and the rest of the team staying back

We had one chance - and blew it - they had 3 or 4 chances and blew them - to be honest a draw was about right - but we should have gone for 3 points at least a little bit

thats pretty much what the commentators said too Farnham

That Southampton were there for the taking and if we weren't so damned negative in our tactics we could take the game fairly easily but KO on his own was not going to do anything.

At one point they basically said that Barnsley were so boring and Davey so negative that they didn't want to carry on the commentary and were finding it hard to do so.
