.. is what I kept seeing on here.. LO..fuckingL… @Loko the Tyke where you at? Silly remark. the guy we have in charge is clueless, he hasn’t a ******* clue of his best 11, we have zero identity and we have poor sides taking the piss out of us. what an almighty fall from last year. Do the right thing Markus and hand your resignation in. You haven’t a clue what you’re doing…
Huddersfield fans were calling for their HC head last season. They're doing a lot better now in 7th. I haven't a clue why Schopp was appointed but I do accept that those involved will know far more about him than anyone on here. There's no point comparing him to Val, he's gone. I still think personally that rushing to sack him might not be the answer.
The vast majority pretty much every Huddersfield fan I know wanted the head coach to stay. The main reason being you can't really sack someone who's not had a summer to get rid of the dross of the guy responsible for you being in that position. He's now had a summer to bring in his own guys and managed to get the star player to sign a new contract and keep hold of him despite Premier League interest. Our head coach has had a summer of players being brought in without a visa or unfit or whatever Cole is who cannot get on the bench. Kitching straight back in after what he did? After our defence kept a clean sheet in our last game against a better team? If Victor is the answer I don't want to know the question.
You love talking about the conference don’t you. Especially for someone who probably wouldn’t support us if we were in said league.
I'm trying to avoid football threads this evening. Obviously we're all disappointed as Barnsley fans, but the toxicity by some on here is difficult reading. It's like we've never had a bad season before. In fairness the last time it was actually the Vauxhall Conference was the year we were in the Premier League.
Ah bless ya, you keep backing someone out of his depth! I bet ya can't come in ya pants quick enough!!
To be fair Fonzie there's been loads of point scoring going on for a while now about players and the manager which is a shame because ultimately we all want the same outcome .
This is really embarrassing. Not for me. For the people calling out a fellow Barnsley fan to try and 'prove them wrong' because we lost. Do you take pleasure in us not being very good today? Interesting tactic and thought process. Not sure what to say to be honest @Scott and @Shepley Red. Thought we were very poor. Gutted about the result and performance. Some head scratching choices in the Starting XI for the first time when options were there.
I say it how I say it tbh mate. From what I've read in recent months, you're very defensive of the owner's and the clubs as a whole. Sorry but that's how it comes across!
What's your thoughts on the future, do you think we are still on track? Being totally honest I'm a bit underwhelmed and struggling to see any improvements.
Plenty of us "defensive of the club" but we call it "supporting the club". I didn't see the game today, but can confirm home performances this season have been generally lacklustre and we're playing with no where near the intensity of last season. But I also remember last season when we didn't win a game in January and everyone was calling for Ismael to be sacked. Surely we have to give the manager until Christmas to implement his style and get the most out of the players?
He didn't have to implement a style. We already had a successful style before he arrived that most of the players who played it well are still here to still be playing.
Really underwhelmed by today, having gone to the game. Players were available that didn't make it in to the Starting XI or on to the pitch, which was confusing and against everything that has gone in Schopp's benefit thus far when results haven't been great. At the same time though I do think we met a Blackpool side today that got ahead, similar to Luton, and then just protected the lead. We're a big fish after last season and getting three points is huge, but we're not actually that calibre of team so breaking a team down is a challenge for us. Especially with new faces. I think the pressure on the Forest and Millwall games is now extremely intense and Schopp needs to show us a reaction. I also thought the behaviour of our fans with Styles, Brittain and Woodrow was out of order. These are players that try and just gave us one of our most successful seasons ever.
