Where does it say the tea lady is losing her job? He will be getting shut of some high earners who aren't needed.

Aye, he also claims the 'big' 6 should have more a say/vote than the others in the league.

Didn’t he ask people who had been working from home since Covid to return to office based duties and a lot refused,so maybe these may be made redundant

And the recent news suggests that the purpose of the "return to the office" policy was likely to try and make a few people quit rather than having to pay them redundancy.

I've seen short sighted management like this a few times, including my last job. Crap pay rises 2 years in a row, and they assumed that if people quit who they wanted to keep then they would just make a counter-offer. It happened to me and I asked my boss why would I want to work at a company that only pays me what they recognise I'm worth when I hand in my notice?

The problem with policies that try and nudge people put the door is that you lose people who can easily get jobs somewhere else (i.e. your better workers)

Has he found a roofer yet? Sacking the IT staff cos they won't come into the office 5 days a week is so out of step with the times, says a lot about the guys style and approach, old school management. Think he should've sacked Ten Hag but so glad he didn't, committee did a review for 12 weeks and reported back the decision is we have no decision.

A tax exile spouting off on Bloomberg about the dangers of the noisy neighbours, shame you didn't actually buy the club. Glazers staying 10 more years.......

What's that to do with him? I'm sure the Big Six are capable of making their own decisions.
