....................maybe only the older saddo's like me will remember this but one of the funniest things I have ever seen at a football game was in the 80s at Man City. John Bond was Man City's manager - a smooth operator covered in bling - and Kevin Bond - his son - played for Norwich. Man City had walloped Norwich at Maine Road something like 6-0. John Bond watched the game in the main stand and at the end of the game - in desperation to console his son Kevin - he tried to jump from the main stand - onto the players tunnel roof and then off the tunnel roof so he could console Kev.......even Evil Kneival wouldnt have attempted it........... The daft jewellry bedecked pillock nearly broke his neck but he was well over due being brought down a peg or two at the time.
