    That's the date Barnsley play their first pre season game.

    How many do you think we'll have brought in by then.

    For me we only have 13 proper first team players sign so far for next season

    Contracts don't expire until the 30th June, therefore new out of contract players are unlikely to be announced until after that date.

    Davies, Townsend, Bree, Yiadom, Roberts, Mawson, Nyatanga, Williams, Scowen, Hourihane, Digby, Hammill, Winnall & Watkins is what I've got at the minute. That's 14. Didn't include Tuton & the other 2 new forwards because I've not seen enough of them.

    Presuming you're missing off either Williams through injury or Digby through not been part of our plans?

    It was Digby because he wasn't on the list I looked at I don't think.

    Fair play to Hemmsy, at least he's soldiering on with footy related threads amidst the politics.

    Think it's stretching the definition a bit to describe Townsend as a 'proper first team player' though.

    Can't see it been straight away but Walton will push him for second choice this season. That's if he can do what he was doing before he got injured.

    We announced the signing of an out of contract player before our season had even finished. Out of contracts players will be announced whenever, as they always have been.

    Think the club will hopefully look to start bringing players in this week because the players are back between Tuesday and Friday next week I believe I read
