yep unfortunatly Simon Davey's inability to identify and sign a decent striker over the course of the last 2 years he's been in the job means that 0-0 is a good result against ANY side as we simply don't have a goalscorer at the club
RE: here we go, all doom and gloom now. People do seem to be under this false impression that Davey is happy with his strikers.
That impression is based upon several factors The first being that Davey persists with the same few strikers whilst not giving others at the club an opportunity, the second is that he has released strikers without giving them the same opportunities as his select few and the third is nice and simple, he has not signed anyone and it is now 17 january. yes he identified ONE player but that is hardly good enough is it considering he had no idea if he would be able to sign him.
if we had just signed crap players for the sake of it they would have complained anyway. Get off davey's back ffs.

So why then was he out scouting strikers this week? If he was unhappy with what he had why did he not go out scouting so that he could sign the players he had chosen on january the first instead of us being on january 17th with no player coming in yet?
No, you're right mate.. He's out looking for strikers because he's happy with our strikers. Think about what you're saying for goodness sake.
