1-2-3-4 which one?

    Supporters can be divided into 4 categories:-

    1. Barnsley born and bred.

    2. Live outside town but support BFC as it's the nearest club or because relatives live in the town.

    3. Born elsewhere but has moved to Barnsley.

    4. No link to Barnsley, never lived there but has chosen to support BFC

    Feelings of pride-passion-intensity-emotion-zeal are inborn they are not something you can acquire.

    My question is can those of us not in Number 1 ever match those in Number 1 for sheer pride-passion?

    I don't think we can.

    I'm in number 3. (7 of my 8 children are in number 1.)

    Born in Sheffield, brought up in Barnsley, moved away at 18. So I'm guessing I class as 1.

    I'm a number 2. Ahem (Mum/Dad from Barnsley - all my relatives are from there)

    Personally I think my enthusiasm for Barnsley is just as strong as someone who comes from there. It'd have to be for me to spend as much as I have following the reds
