well as you know Glynn I think you are a lovely person, and I know .... the feeling is mutual...... however I think we both have agreed that the original poster is an even bigger lovely person than the pair of us. Murray was huge today and I applaud the lad. But unfortunately this guy cannot see that this is a great as the 1966 world cup win, the 2003 Rugby world cup win (in Oz over Oz) its strange that when its the Olympics... its Team GB , but when its down to an individual thing its not GB at all. I also laugh at the people who shout it loud that the likes of Chelski , ManUre have won the European Champions league 'Cos the are an ENGLISH team...yeah right. Andy Murray was born and bred in Scotland which is British... so well done Andy Murray and a big thanks for ending a 77 year barren patch.
Lets all be honest, it's more a success for Spanish sport than it is for Britain or Scotland. I'm delighted for Murray and he's certainly earned it, yet I don't feel a huge affinity or emotional attachment to his success.

You've jumped on the offensive and missed my point. Murray was coached in Spain through the Spanish system. It was a dig at the massive failings of the LTA, not Murray.

Being a professional footballer has saved him from spending time at her majesty's pleasure. Dreadful individual who earns more in a week than I ( or most of us) earn in 8-10 years.
