Just bought four tickets from box office and the bloke next to me bought three, lass behind the counter said they have 1 ticket left, so there will be 1600 there tomorrow cheering the boys on.

Woman in box office said 1600, so 1599 if no-one buys that in the next hour.

What About The Extra 500 Away Teams Can Have?

Are they available pay on the day or have we not asked for them?

My pikey in laws said the same, they gave Pikey Rovers behind the goal and a bit of the side and looking at Scunnys attendances this season they aren't exactly filling it. They could have given us part of the side as pay on the day.

Disapointing Not Having Pay On The Day

We could have sold another couple of hundred. That would have made them more money and given us extra support. It would have been a win-win situation.

The problem with pay on the day for a localish game on a bank holiday is you then have no idea how many people will turn up and you run the risk of having people turning up and then unable to get a ticket

True But I Couldn't See It With Us

It's taken us weeks to sell 1,600 and so I doubt we will have sold 500 on the day. I do remember when WBA made it pay on the day and we had hundreds in the home end (segregated). Good times.

It happened when we played them before

In the cup when they beat us 2-0 under Thordarsson people were getting turned away who were trying to pay on the day.
