Cracking first half performance. Second we let them back in but again held firm at the back. I feel Davey made a mistake taking Ricgards off towards the end. Left us no height upfront and he ended up putting nads into midfield, kay upfront and wallwork at CH!!!! Bloody crazy! Either not changed it or nads should have replaced knight instead. But nevermind now! 3 more points and were out of the relegation spots. Bring on the leeds! Just make sure you learn from the mistakes Simon! Yer doing a fine job.
RE: 100% better performance today and another clean sheet! Spot on Davey! I award thee another badge Kay was moved out of defence cos he was injured. Sound tactics IMHO.
RE: 100% better performance today and another clean sheet! Spot on Davey! I award thee another badge not a lot you can do with a crock CH. Thought they covered it well. Think Dan the Man should start for Ronnie W on Saturday!
RE: 100% better performance today and another clean sheet! Spot on Davey! I award thee another badge Agree with all that mate, with the exception of your comments on Kay up front. They only put him there because after his injury he'd be less of a burden up front. Got him up there out of the way. Made sense. Kay was my MotM, just hope he'll be fit for Leeds.
Davey has done just about everything right for me so far. hope he can continue our progress and bring us at least a point back from Bellend Road.

ok - i saw Kay pick up an injury but thought he looked to have run it off hope he is fit for saturday.
His "tinkering" nearly cost us Well organised on Saturday (but a little bit boring to watch). I was hoping for more of the same against Southend.
Good first half display against Southend, but why one earth did the manager / coahc rotate the entire midfield for the second half? All of a sudden, we had midfield players "bombing forward" with no regard for defensive duties (even Togwell was at it out on the right). Remember, this was a game we were winning.
Finally, why did he use all three substitues? There was no need to do that. We effectively finished up with nine fit players on the pitch (with Kay injured and Reid sent off).
I was not impressed at all with Mr Davey's second half performance last night.
