why didnt the club organsise something for the last game of the season to comemorate this 100 year anniversary of the clubs biggest triumph? They could have had a family day at Oakwell and tried to get the ground full.
You can buy a mug... What else do u want? The club to celebrate it's biggest achievement? Get the families of the players at Oakwell as special guests? Launch a commemorative plaque or statue? Have a shirt with the players names on? Use the occasion to whip up a bit of interest at Oakwell? Some people are never satisfied....... Just buy a mug and be happy.
It's a good job they went to the trouble of consulting the fans earlier in the season, then took all the suggestions on board.
Yeah, I mean who would want a replica Cup Final shirt? Nah we are better with a mug! That suits us better!
Don't be daft why would the club do anything That would mean Mr Rowing would have to get his finger out of his arse and organise stuff, say if they let people in for say the price of a 1912 cup final ticket for the last game of the season and more fans turned up he'd have to organise extra stewards and stock for the bars etc and you want more merchandise again Mr Rowing would have to give a **** first. He's spent the last few years making his job easier by emptying Oakwell why would he want to do something that would mean more work for him. If he draws a salary above minimum wage he's stealing a living.
Re: Don't be daft why would the club do anything That is an insult to corner shop owners at least they want more customers Rowing's mission in life seems to be emptying Oakwell as quickly as possible. He can't get the pricing policy right, can't get players contracts right can't extract decent prices for players he sells, has got to be the worst general manager in the football league and the fact Cryne allows him to run the club casts serious doubt on Crynes judgement
