    Im going out of course in ponte with the rest of the students...but what is it actually?

    It was when Gents the clothing factory and Barnsley Council closed for the hols....

    the do was called "bimbos" which is/was a derogatory term for airhead ladies....

    since Gents closed a lot of people have still kept the tradition alive...indeed the council still calls it Bimbos and donates the money from the door of the nightclub to the mayors chosen charity....

    its the busiest day of the year in town....in fact the manager of walkabout told me last year at 1pm he had already hit his target for the day....!!!

    Most people call it Mad Friday cos it is....!!!
