    Yes there was, and I was sat 40 yds from it. Folk always say this cause they're grouped together in the middle, surprising how it looks cramped if you all bunch together.

    12,130 attendance in same fixture last season

    Same number of away fans (3,800) last season as well so about 1,000 more Barnsley fans in this time around :)

    Big square near tunnel unavailable restricted view seats empty and that section close to East Stand had very few in it. I thought around 4 thou.

    Good point, didn't think we'd have had many pay on the dayers today given the start to the season. We just need to start playing like we did in the first half for 70 or 80 minutes and crowds will increase giving the club more money to strengthen and move forward, a lot of the part time attendees will still be unsure after today, it could have easily have been the Charlton game all over again, have to say I think Pollitt kept us in it a few times by knowing when to be the sweeper and when to leave it to the defenders.

    North Stand holds 5,700. The away following was given as 3,888. Therefore it had 1812 empty seats.

    Definitely had that many spare seats, even behind the goals not everyone one was sat against each other, 1 person every couple of seats, lets all spread out and make it look full. **** thread this, they brought under 4,000 what's the fuss?
