With Bet365. Can't remember if I've ever seen us at bigger odds for a match than that. It may be a strange atmosphere if Villa are holding/leading Brighton and that news filters through to 50,000 screaming Geordies!

I think we were 14/1 to beat Chelsea at home in the cup.

I really can't see us getting anything from this one. They beat us fairly convincingly at home in the end. Although Newcastle do seem a little more shaky in front of their own fans, I think we're looking very light at the minute.

I don't ever predict us for defeat, as I'm usually very optimistic, but I would say 3-0 is a likely scoreline.

I'm also usually quite optimistic, but for this one I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if we end up on the wrong end of 6 or 7. Our defence is decimated by injury, we've got nothing to play for and they have everything to play for. Our only hope is if they're feeling a bit nervy, but being already up I can't see that either.

For some it's a 550 mile round trip.

I saw this. 14-1 is way too high, in the sense that I don't think it would take us 14 matches against them to win one match. But I think we'll lose. On the other hand, funny things can happen when the pressure is on them and our team have nothing to play for except the occasion in the stadium and the sentiment that it may be the last time they play with peers/ friends in the team.

We've the 7th best away record in the Championship. Recent form suggests we'll get beaten, but that's worth 10 bob of anyone's money.
