15 games in, and 27 goals scored....

Only Newcastle have scored more. Unfortunate that only Forest and Rotherham have conceded more, but I'd sooner have it that way than like Derby - conceding only 11 but scoring only 9!

When you consider the combined spend on strikers in this league, that 27 goals is magnificent, and a credit to the whole team.

I got a cuddle for each goal today, so long may it continue. Hope we get double figures next week...

I'm starting to doubt this young woman jumping on you story from the other day... you sure you didn't just pick her up before she knew what was happening? ;)

The other day? That was the play off semi against Walsall!

I'll get some therapy before the next match...

22nd best defence out of 24 in our league or third worse if you wish to look at it that way. You wouldn't know it because individually our defenders quite rightly get plenty of praise especially our centre halfs. But for whatever reason either geling as a team, not getting enough luck or something else it's just not worked too well so far.

Pretty much what Hecky has been saying for weeks, little individual errors are costing us dearly. Lots of players new to this league though, and I think we'll just get better and better as the season progresses.

I think so too. Might take half a season but come the new year at the latest and i'm sure we will be stronger at the back and conceeding less. Lets hope sods law doesn't come into place then and goals start to dry up :(

I think it's very similar to the first half of last season. Individually our back 4 looked good, but one of two errors a game were costing us, combined with a lack of conviction in front of goal. The amount of games early last season when we lost 0-1 or 1-2, was what cost us to fall away.

I think we'll improve over time and if we can hold onto some of our better players in January, then I think we'll have a solid 2nd half of the season.
