In some respects, that's probably not Gordon's fault Players nowadays (at least the good ones) will always hedge ther bets in case a better offer comes along in the summer. Add to that the fact that we don't know which league we will be in next season, and this gives the chairman a major headache. It's the same scenario as last summer. Only the average ones will snatch your hand off whe ofered a two year deal or an extension.
