30 goal striker in Rhodes etc... 7000 at BFC, atmosphere like a morgue, just missed out on relegation by a fluke, no goalscorers really worth mentioning (yet) except an 18 stone egyptian if what you've been saying is true. Oliver Norwood..... no brainer. Get real.
I don't agree with your knocking of our club, but I understand what you're saying. Everybody seems to be claiming its purely about money, but at the end of the day they're going to draw bigger crowds than us, and their chairman is much more ambitious than ours. Not too bothered that he hasn't signed. Plus if he's anything like the last two to turn us down for Huddersfield, then he won't pull up many trees there.
Was he really that good for Coventry last season? I know one player doesn't make the team, but they were relegated. I don't understand all the fuss if I'm honest.
Plus the little matter that Huddersfield probably were able to offer an extra couple of thousand per week, which adds up over the course of a three year contract.
He was apparently impressed with what both managers had to say, so I think it probably came down to money.
If you're going to have a snipe at least get your facts straight. We've averaged over 10,000 for donkeys years whilst your crowds only increased after the cheap season ticket offer. 2008 you were only averaging 9,000 which is pathetic for such massive club and a town the size of Huddersfield. Rhodes has only scored goals in the lower leagues, let's see what a jump in standards brings.
