According to the Daily Star we are set to bid this amount of money for him.

Sure someone on here said a while back he'd been linked with us from a rumour?

I'm not sure about it to be honest, think his best days are behind him, looks like we've given up on Charlie Adam then if were after him?

    I mentioned that

I'd heard at work we were in talks with him, a couple of weeks ago. The rumour seemed to have died a death, so I've assumed it was gibberish.

Central Midfielder for Ipswich, used to play for Fowls and Blunts; scored for both teams in the Steel City Derby i think.

Wouldn't be a bad signing IMO

.....if we can get past his deedar roots - he can play midfield or at left back. Alot of games under his belt at this level. Decent at set pieces.

Then again, we could just slag off every proposed signing before we even know if there's any truth in the rumours, and whilst w're at it we can moan at the lack of transfer activity.

Alan Quin is a very good player. He was highly rated by the Owls. Magilton knew about him and took him to Ipswich. He had some very decent games for them. He's hard working and enthusiastic and can play on the left. Davey is trying to bring in English players, as opposed to the foreigners he has brought in previously.T his seems to be the new policy. I wouldn't turn my nose up at Quinn.

I don't really know anything about him tbh but sounds like a good buy.
Championship experience, can cover in midfield and full back by the sounds of it, 150k isn't a lot of money. If we're having a small squad the subs need to be versatile and he sounds perfect.
