The table on SkySports live console is split into 2 pages - top half and bottom half.</p> Looking at the top half, we see lots of teams we've played. The bottom half, conversely, contains lots of teams we haven't played.</p> For example, we haven't played any of the current bottom 7. We've only played one team in the current bottom ten and only 3 teams in the bottom half.</p> We have played 9 out of the current top 14 and just one of the current bottom ten. So not only have we amassed a decent points tally from those first ten games, we've done it against the better sides.</p> I know statistics are pretty malleable and you can bend them to fit anything but surely being top 5 (**** - 6th now - Bristol have just scored!) despite the fixtures being so heavily skewed towards the current form teams, can be no bad thing.</p>
Before today we had played 7 out of 9 games against top half teams..... http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/vtophalf.html A great achievement that we are in a play off position (Y)
Playing some of the favourites to go up and getting results from them, shows how far we have come this season. It was a fantastic result today, and if we can keep picking up points against the so-called big teams then i think we will finish the season in a healthy position, top 10 maybe. That will do me just fine.
