oops - marc richards after reading omen's post (ok i didnt because it was too long and you now the story the youth of today bla bla ....) Well anyway there is a small part of me that wishes Marc Richards hadnt scored today so i could put in a nice post about how much i think he's doing for us and i wouldnt get the replies of "just cos hes scored". but today i think he excelled and he never gave up, i dont agree that nardi should have been oon for him not hayes or that it should have been the other way round i simplay agree with the fact that nardi should never have come on unless for a midfielder or defender. My point being Richards is a player that would be missed if he wasnt played.
RE: oops - marc richards must admit when i heard that richards was starting instead of Wright/Nards it made me wonder what the hell Ritchie as thinking becasue Richards has scored about 1 from open play this season. Credit to richrds for scoring a class goal, hopefully he can build from it and contribute more especially in the goals column.
Chap I like Richards and was well pleased for him today. I honestly think that some folk are getting on his back for the sake of having a go at someone. I was annoyed that when he was substituted some still booed him off. Mind you some booed the whole team off at half time,
RE: 4th Choice Striker. No class. Richards is just a league 2 player and a very average one at that. Never looks a threat in front of goal. He's just Conlon without the goals. http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/images/emoticons/******.gif
RE: 4th Choice Striker. No class? What do you expect when were playing third division football? No threat in front of goal? Was his goal a mirage on Saturday then? Who are the really scary strikers at the club then? please explain. Far more mobile than Conlon on any given day.
