    Wot ya meant to do like!!!!!

    Any suggestions very welcome, tried Direct Line, Norwich Union, Asda, Churchill and loads of others, Cheers

    It's all very expensive

    Get your parents to take the policy out and name you as an additional driver.

    Or just get a proper bike.

    I'm insured on my mums clio at the minute but as ya do, u want ur own...
    Cost £800 to have me on with Direct Line, which in my opinion were't too bad compared... but ya do build no claims with DL though

    Should stay with that for a few years, get some NCB built up. It's worth a lot of money after a few years.

    but you do know that everytime

    you ask for a quote they run a credit check, at the end of the day you could end up with a very poor credit rating. My bank told me that when I went for a loan.

    try adrian flux, im with them and i lost my no claims last year and im 20 and have a sierra 1.8 turbo and my insurence with them was only 1460 pounds and i have paid it off monthly and it hasent been too bad. get there number off google.

    it'd be worth the wait though. Even if you bought the car and she took out a policy on it and you still got your NCB. You can still own the car and be the only one who drives it.

    when I put my daughter on my ins as a 17yr old learner, my fully comp was &pound;166. if I droped to TFT, was the same price with her added. Direct Line</p>

    sold my sierra in January, aint had a car since, and fully comp was &pound;116, Direct line. but then you live the wrong side of Main St:)

    aye i had a car park scuff but the person claimed off my insurence had 2 years no claims to that point like.
