our pts from 19 game sequences this season

    18 21 19 17 16 16 18 18 15

we are struggling -we need togain 11 pointsmore than our last 19 games-nearly twice as well as we have been playing

RE: we need to win half of the remaining games

if we get 11 pts from the next 2 sets of 9 games(which is davey's average) we will have 48 with 1 game to go-makes WBA away crucial!!

even if we greatly strengthened the squad we would struggle to get the required points to stay up,with our squad not a prayer, down allready may as well strengthen for league 1 now

    Would have been possible if

AR had not been sacked just before a series of crucial games (Leicester, QPR, Wendys) leaving the club unsettled. While under AR our over attacking attitude cost us against big teams I truly believe we would have won those matches and put distance between us and the bottom three, not to mention adding nine extra points to the tally. I honestly think that was our chance to make ourselves favourites of the bottom group to stay up, I'll never say die unless it becomes mathematically impossible to stay up, but it will be very, very difficult now.
