    That's a fantastic bit of film, and such good quality.

    Brilliant seeing the ground 80 years ago, but pity the camera didn't pan round to show all four sides.

    Did you notice the scene, 1min 20secs in, where they had started building the framework for the scoreboard.

    Beaumont Asquith owned a grocers shop in the 60s Where the Cardamon Indian restaurant is now in stairfoot/kendray .

    Lived in one of the old railway houses straight opposite on Doncaster rd

    Yes that's right. I used to work for him. Weighing spuds in the back and fetching pop and other stuff from the outside storage. Also used to take his greyhound for a walk. Barry Senior's butchers shop alongside his grocery shop.
