1942 ish,at Birdwel Drill Hall

Yes it was near the Police Station,1942 was the time i left school,and started Working at Pilley Pit,and started to go out a bit more,every Sat night they used to have a dance there,just the place where the Local lads and lasses used to meet,(GRAT)now there were twin lasses from Tankersley,very nice they were too,had a reputation, as P TEASERS.....well that was all knew to me...at the dance that night ,they started to work on me,a New Boy,so to speak...WELLL, me Being me, i said FFFF OFF,your not teasing my PLick......Oh if only!!???
