Looked Like.......

way more than that to me. All home ends sold out so.......

    West Stand: 4,752

    East Stand: 7,492

    CK Beckett: 4,508

That makes 16,752 home fans. Then Forest sold 3,500 and asked for another 300. Surely the crowd should have been 20,000.

    aye but do remember

that although they say all sold out , you will have had a number of ST holders absent due to work/sickness/hols/family matter etc. and also there would be a load of corporate tickets unused.

Home areas weren't full. Fair few ST holders missing.

Ponty wasn't nearly as full as it has been for other big games.

I could spot plenty of empty seats throughout the home parts - that figure looked about right to me.

I thought season tickets were included

    whether you attend or not.

There looked to be more than 19000 there but i've never been good at guessing

    Empty Seats In Home Ends

Should a similar sold out deal happen in the past, we as a club should look at giving those who can't go to the game something for their season ticket stub, so the ground can be genuinely sold out in the home ends.

RE: Empty Seats In Home Ends

Ooh no, you can't be doing summat sensible like that - it's in the rules, STs are strictly non transferable.

It would mean Rowing and his team would have to do some work and we can't be having that.

Ideas like that are far better left to sensible, progressive clubs run by customer friendly general managers.

The crowd was over a thousand down on what it should have been with all home areas sold out and 3,700 away fans. True, there were some obvious empty seats - behind the away dugout and the complimentary area at the front of the East Upper - but not enough to account for the shortfall. There was a fair cluster of empty seats as well near the back of the East Upper just past halfway line towards the North Stand. Didn't understand why those weren't occupied.

Behind the away dugout, a block empty besides the back couple of rows. A fair few seats in the East stand lower near me empty. Probably season ticket holders not there, or tickets bought and not bothered making an appearance.

Edit. And West stand upper, in the middle wasn't full.

Irony is that when i was in the ticket office

i saw at least 20 people wanting tickets but being told it was a total sell out, these were generally older folk who were saying they didnt have internet access and that it hadnt been mentioned on local radio it was a sell out, felt sorry for them when i saw so many empty seats
