We were asleep for their goal, but we have come alive since!! We have created some pressure, in glimpses, but not enough quality going forward/bringing people in... Possibly missing A.Gray upfront to hold the ball? Far too innaffective from goal kicks/playing the ball out - possibly due to above... We give it away FAR too much, Macken/Boggy just cant win/hold it... Due to this we have largely reverted by to DAVEY tactics, of hitting it long up field from the full backs, rather than playing it through the midfield (and so we get turned round quickly) Defence... I do think Kozluk has done ok, Gray blatently at fault for goal (but playing ok since), Foster needs to sort his attacking heading (a bit critical), Moore coping with Owen n co well. Midfield... Pretty inaffective... Trying to pressure united, trying to work as a unit, but not enough going either way!! Hallfredsson doing ok when on the ball, quiet/slow off of it. Colace working hard n breaking up play, contributing little else (suppose thats his job). Anderson done ok, some good play on the ball, slow off of the ball to get back, not a winger. Hamill lightweight off of the ball, but has caused some problems when ball at his feet! ALWAYS looking to cut inside and use that right foot of his... Forwards... Macken & Boggy trying to pressure the ball when united in pocession, but not holding the ball up and bringing team into play. Not hand many/any chances. Some pace to get in/around the back would be nice... OVer all a decent 35mins (after the 1st 10mins) Lets keep creating chances n keep up the tempo... We've done enough to think we can still steal some of this 2nite!! Hume is a must later on & reckon Butterfield cud add something to the m/field (if we need a goal in last 20) Its cold in the East Upper 2nite!!
i dint say he aint... but wud love the ball 2 his feet every so often, rather than a punt from goalie or full-back!!
In my view, there is no pace in our team. At times it looks like the ref has already blown up or something.</p> In no way are we the better team. Probably a bit lucky that we were losing so early, because there's not muchdesire in the Man Utd attack, they are playing within themselves. We are just managing to win corners and trying to manufacture goals from those situations at the moment.</p> </p>
