They don't show many full championship games on down under so it was nice to be up at 6:30am to watch us for a change :D
Overall we played well and played in the right manner, regardless of the man u line up they had 3 potential defenders who could be in the world cup squad for England this summer along with Anderson and Owen and after the 1st then minutes I looked the better team, main difference poor defending for the 1st goal and a moment of clasds for the 2nd goal.

Finally does anyone else think Hammil is a little gready?

Hmmmm maybe he is a bit

But I don't think you can blame a guy who's skinned two top class defenders and got himself a one on one with the England goalkeeper for shooting.

Maybe the awareness will improve as he gets older and plays more.

Our main threat tonight by a mile.

    Hammill..

Think he got sick of creating chances for other people towards the end.

3 cracking corners missed by Boggy & Foster x2, a great ball Hume headed wide, a great block that fell to Bogdanovic to put wide. Was really impressed with Hammill tonight and he is going to be a massive part of our future for as long as we can hold onto him for.

    Hume headed wide

a ball that took a significant deflection off the defenders calf

Hammill was one of our better players though.

    Was it going in?

Had no idea from where I was, thought he'd scored.

    dont think so

Hume appeared to have his path set to the anticipated cross then he made the best of the deflection

    don't get me wrong

Hammil is class and easily MOTM tonight however when he skinned the full back he should have laid it off to Hume (can't blame him for shooting as Journo said) and the other was at the end when he put a corner in, the 1st man cleared it back to him only for him to shoot from an acute angle personally he should have crossed it either way like I said he is class!
