    when you buy the ipod

you get the usb cable, a firewire cable and itunes software on cd as well as instruction manual on cd and a paper quick start guide.

the only thing I suggest you buy is a mains charger as this is not included and you don't always have access to a computer.

When you say "a mains charger as this is not included and you don't always have access to a computer" does that mean it'll charge via USB normally? And if so is this slower than charging using the mains charger?

    RE: Another Ipod question

I got an 80gb classic recently and overall very impressed. I have downloaded around 4,ooo songs. Certain tracks seem to have not fully transferred ie you play them and it stops half way through and then just moves onto the next song. Is this a fault with the Ipod? Can it be resolved without having to send i back and get a new one?

agree with Knowlesy a mains charger is a must otherwise you only charge it through usb...(painful when you have to put comp on to charge it)

I got a mains charger from ebay for £5......they are £15 in Asda...
