Fair play to the Americans, defended really heroically and took their chances well. Still gutted about Spain though :'(, big fans of them because of the style of Football they play and have the world's best players... Oh well, on to Wimbledon now - Come on Murray .
torres and villa have a record of about 1 goal every 3 games plus. why is this so good. rooney and crouch both have better records for england at international level and there records are not far off 1 goal every 2 games. this might not sound alot but over 100 games this is.
US did well, kept Torres and Villa quiet in the air which is what they needed cos Spain's main threat came from the wings and corners. As long as they dealt with the ball from the wings and caught spain on the counter they alas stood a chance.
