Lets make some noise! A number of times this season this group seem to respond with goals when we get behind them. Coming from lower leagues I think the bigger crowds and home/away support really spurs them on. Most notably Sam Winnall. Lets sing our hearts out on Saturday. You Reds!
It's been better over the last few weeks. Bristol City at home was a decent atmosphere even when we were one down.
I was commenting more on the away support where a large portion of or following are concessions who just want to stand there and be entertained,
Exactly what I'll be doing. Our support has been brilliant this season away from home, think our lowest other than Yeovil was 830 at Port Vale. Be interesting to see if we carry on with this level of support, wouldn't normally expect us to take 800+ to places like Swindon/Gillingham/Crawley/Orient, but if we carry on improving on the pitch there's no reason why we can't. 8 years of dirge in the Championship still saw us take decent followings to far flung places, having a season where we look like winning a few on the road might tempt more people to follow their team down south.
Gutted I can't be there and my son even more so! Family wedding....non football fans just don't understand. Why on earth would you arrange a wedding in November?
Bad news for all of you but great news for me - but would have preferred the games a bit more evenly spread
Some saying around 6,000. 9,723 for their game against SUFC with around 1900 away fans, they were doing well at the time though http://www.thecfss.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=52402&st=20
Walsall, Preston, Scunny and Donny are our next four away games after saturday so not far to go. PNE we could have 3-4k on boxing day if we carry on doing well. Although the Scunny game is on FA Cup 3rd round day so likely have to be rearranged.
