Don't talk soft! If we were playing badly I'd agree, but we're really not. Massively unlucky today against the most expensive side ever assembled at this level, and a completely incompetent ref.
I'd sack him to put him out of his misery. It's the hope that kills you. 10th richest club in world after Spurs.
Could be right. We sacked Collins who got back the play offs. If we drop to middle table after the next two, he could well be gone. If we don't get at least one win from Exeter and Leyton Orient, would you trust him with Bolton and Peterborough away and Wrexham at home? Why did he sub a sub? If McCarthy isn't injured then it seems a bad decision.
Watched his interview blames players for not been focused and not resetting after scoring and not defending the set piece.
He's got a point with the first one. You're at your most vulnerable when you've just scored. They didn't switch back on and focus quick enough. They were probably shocked the ball went in the net for a change.
No Im definitely not, but they can't be sacked, so we're stuck with them (apparently!). However, when things start going wrong they can sack the Coach, in an attempt to start from scratch again.
And he’s absolutely correct what he says we should have been a couple of goals up but then after they equalised everything that could have gone wrong did so no blame on Clarke for me although i do feel it’s time we saw Nwakali from the start of games.
The owners need to **** off. Get the club marketed for sale and do one. This isn't managed decline (as some on here have suggested) because that would imply they know what they're doing. It's actually sheer incompetence and I've had enough. They can sack the head coach but it won't make a difference.
There is always the danger of be careful what you wish for, because the next lot might be worse, etc!. But come on, surely there might be some interested parties out there, if they knew the club was up for sale. I just hate this constant suggestion that we're stuck with them, and we have to accept it, because there's nobody else apparently!!.
Me too, apparently because we're little old Barnsley we shouldn't aspire to be anything more, just accept our lot, do the bare minimum etc. That attitude really pisses me off. I'd rather see a change in ownership than accept the current lot meandering towards next summer's big **** ups.
Yes I think we were generally decent today and msde The Bluenoses look pretty average most of the time.
I’d imagine the club is always up for sale. Of course they haven’t formally advertised it, but if the right offer came in, I’m sure they’d consider.
